Please Join Us! WPBF 2020 unGala |
What is an "unGala"? It is White Plains Beautification Foundation's way of saying Thank You for not attending in person. Instead, join our webinar from the comfort of your own home computer or mobile device where we can maintain our social distance and still see what the foundation has been up to, and what we have planned for the future. |
This year we honor WHITE PLAINS ESSENTIAL WORKERS Heroes who have been caring for the sick, providing all city services, protecting the public, stocking shelves, delivering food, serving as hospital support staff, and those who have died during the COVID-19 pandemic. |
Our unGala Zoom Webinar will feature: Mary Ann DeRosa, WPBF President Jean Bello, Adopt-a-Park Chair Deborah Donahoe, Garden Committee Chair Joanna D'Addario, Daffodil Project Chair and our esteemed local officials: Amy Paulin, New York State Assemblywoman Ben Boykin, Chairman, Westchester County Board of Legislators Tom Roach, Mayor, City of White Plains |
Proceeds will directly support the planting, maintenance and watering of the 65 WPBF Gardens throughout the city. Please sponsor the 1st ever unGala by contributing at a sponsorship level. We also ask you to Register to view the unGala webinar. Registration for the webinar will provide you with your own secure link to view the unGala on Thursday, September 17th at 7:00 p.m. |
Please Note: Sponsorship and Registration are two separate links. We hope you do both! |
To show our support for these brave souls and to memorialize those who have lost their lives to the virus, every signature WPBF garden sign is adorned with a purple ribbon. |
Post a photo of you celebrating, at home during the unGala or at a WPBF garden site, on the WPBF Facebook page @wpbeautification. Select photos may be posted to the WPBF website and/or printed in the 2020 Fall Newsletter. |
