July 2020 Gardens and More |
|
White Plains Beautification Foundation's sponsored gardens can be identified throughout the city by our signature green post signs. Each sign displays the major contributor whose generous donation helps maintain and water the garden that is updated by local nurseries with seasonal plantings. |

Through the years we have also funded capital projects, providing gifts to the city of White Plains and Westchester County. In honor of WPBF's 50th anniversary, the organization dedicated a street clock to the city on Sept. 24, 2015. The 16-foot, Verdin-post, two-faced style is a Howard Replica street clock visible to traffic both entering and leaving White Plains. This is one of three clocks WPBF has placed in White Plains. |

Found at the intersection of Mamaroneck Avenue and Bloomingdale Road, the dedication plaque reads: "In honor of all the founders and volunteers who made the 50th anniversary of White Plains Beautification Foundation, Inc. possible." |
